What is termed 'seasonal depression' affects a significant percentage of the Afurakani/Afuraitkaitnit (African~Black) population in the western hemisphere. Within our Ancestral culture and ritual practices we have the capacity to address this issue effectively from a spiri-genetically rooted perspective. There are dietary, environmental, psychological, racial and spiritual (including influence from discarnate spirits) factors which combine in various configurations to define 'seasonal depression'. These configurations vary from person to person. However, an elemental restorative method effectively addresses this concern.

In this workshop we introduce what in Akan culture is called AHOSAN as the Ancestral ritual method.

We examine our Ancestral cosmology to properly define the 'anatomy' of seasonal depression which western psychology cannot do. We properly define the spiritual anatomy, honamsu, of Afurakani/Afuraitkaitnit (African~Black) people which is critical to affecting spiritual, emotional. mental-psychological balance. We then provide ritual practices which realign our sunsum (spirit-body) with nhyehyee (order) that we may achieve adennen (balance).

Our related four-week course AHOSAN: Elemental Restoration is included in addition to the archived workshop and ritual susuw (meditation) for seasonal depression.
