Wealth On Your Terms
When I first set out on my financial journey, I believed that success was measured by what you could accumulate. Like many, I was drawn into a cycle of earning more and spending even more. I lived with the illusion that having things—houses, cars, luxury items, exotic vacations—meant I was doing well. And for a while, I convinced myself that this was true. But beneath the surface, I was drowning. The debt piled up, and before long, I found myself millions of dollars in the hole. Each month was a juggling act, trying to keep up with the endless payments while still trying to maintain the lifestyle I had built on credit.
That was a hard road, and one that I wouldn’t recommend to anyone. But it was also the experience that opened my eyes. Living under the weight of debt is not living at all—it’s surviving. And I came to understand that no amount of possessions or outward success could make up for the constant stress and fear that comes with financial insecurity. That’s when I knew something had to change.
This book, “Wealth on Your Terms: Master Your Money, Master Your Life,” is born out of that experience. Today, I am proud to say that I live completely debt-free. My money works for me now, not the other way around. And the peace and freedom that come from this place is something I wish everyone could experience. It’s why I wrote this book. I want to show you how to take control of your finances and unlock the freedom that financial independence brings.
Throughout my life, I’ve learned that wealth is not just about the size of your bank account. It’s about the choices you can make when you’re not weighed down by debt or constantly chasing the next paycheck to keep up with your bills. With God’s help and direction, it’s about waking up with the knowledge that you own your life and that your financial future is in your hands. This is the essence of true financial freedom.
In this book, you’ll find practical, actionable steps to get you on the path to financial independence. From budgeting and managing debt to understanding credit and investing for the future, we’ll cover everything you need to build a solid financial foundation. But more than that, this book is about changing your mindset around money. It’s about shifting from a life of financial dependence and payments to one where your money serves your goals, not the other way around. For me, God is at the center of it all.
I didn’t write this book as a one-size-fits-all approach to personal finance. Everyone’s journey is different, and your path to financial independence will look unique to you. What I do offer are the principles and strategies that I’ve seen work, both in my own life and in the lives of others I’ve helped along the way. The concepts in this book aren’t about quick fixes or shortcuts. They are about creating a lasting foundation for financial independence that will give you peace of mind and allow you to live life on your own terms.
May this book may be a comfort and guidance as you seek God-willed financial independence. I pray that this book will be a comfort and guidance as you seek God-willed financial independence. It’s not always easy, but I can promise you this: the freedom that comes from being debt-free, payment-free and fully in control of your financial life is worth every step. Let’s get started.
