A while ago I was asked by the lovely team of The Yarn Collective to create something pretty with one of their yarns. I was more than thrilled to learn one of the yarns was curated by my dear friend Melanie Berg. A couple of days later I received a box of neutrals and grays to play with, I picked three and did what I like best - made a shawl. Portland Lace is truly beautiful, soft and the finished fabric is drapey and showcases the stitch patterns very well.
“Why Logan?”, you might ask.
This is what happens when binge watch “Gilmore Girls” while knitting that Garter ;) Though I have to confess, I’m still not sure if I’m Team Jess or Team Logan ;)

This design has been created in collaboration with The Yarn Collective. If you’d like to see their yarns head over here.

This simple but stylish shawl is engaging and rhythmic to knit, and easy and fun to wear. Most of the body is worked in striped Garter stitch, interrupted by faux rib stripes. One section of simple lace engages the mind and draws the eye.
