Do You Know Your Dog? The Beagle

Calling all Beagle lovers! 🐾

Does yours go deaf the second they find a good smell? Have the biscuits mysteriously vanished off the worktop again? And is that howl when you pop out just a bit much for the neighbours?

At Houlton Hounds we're a team of 8 dog walkers near Rugby, looking after more than 200 clients, and we have a real soft spot for Beagles. Those velvet ears, that happy waving tail and a nose that never, ever switches off! This fun 16-page guide shares everything we've learned on a lot of nose-down, tail-up miles.

Inside you'll find:

• The Beagle's story, from English pack hound to much-loved family dog
• Life with that amazing nose: recall, escape artists, food thieves and the famous Beagle voice
• Is a Beagle right for you? An honest look at time, exercise and costs
• Walks, scent games and training tips that really work
• Grooming, health checks and what to ask a breeder

We're dog walkers, not vets, so we've checked everything against the Royal Kennel Club, PDSA, Dogs Trust and the RSPCA, plus our own tales from the Houlton Hounds pack.

For every guide sold, we donate 50p to UK dog rescue charities ❤️

We hope it makes you smile, and helps you get to know your dog even better!
