Every puzzle from last winter's snow game in one file you keep, each one a guess at how deep the snow was at one place in the Colorado mountains on one morning. The government measures the snow every morning at eight spots in the Colorado mountains, ski hills and high passes like Loveland Basin and Berthoud Summit. One spot on one morning is one puzzle, and the file has every morning from January 12 to March 31 at all eight spots, 632 puzzles.

Pick a place and a date, and see how deep the snow was there on five earlier dates, in inches. Type a low number and a high number for the date itself. If the real depth is between them you score points, more when your two numbers are close together, and you get three tries at each puzzle.

The file opens in any browser with no internet needed, and your results stay in your own browser. The numbers are the government's own readings, and the file says where each one came from.

The free daily puzzle stays at griffinley.com/george-harris/snow.
