Course Description

The TB & TB DOTS Support Course is designed to provide caregivers and healthcare support workers with essential knowledge about Tuberculosis (TB), its prevention, treatment support, and the importance of adherence to TB medication.

This course introduces learners to the role of caregivers and community health supporters in assisting TB patients through education, encouragement, treatment support, infection prevention practices, and early identification of possible warning signs.

Learners will understand the principles of the DOTS (Directly Observed Treatment, Short-course) approach and how proper support can help patients complete treatment successfully and reduce the spread of TB in communities.
