The name of this dress is Ibiza and refers to one of the Balearic Islands in the Mediterranean Sea, belonging to Spain. Its name comes from the Phoenician word “Ibossim”, derived from the god Bes, who was associated with protection and dance. The possible colour options are drawn from the Ibiza contrasting landscape, setting the scene of inspriation for this piece. With sensory calm in mind, our clothing offers protection and the fabric, essence of the dress should feel calm and flow like a dance. Over centuries, the name Ibiza has evolved through Latin and Catalan forms into “Eivissa” (the local Catalan name) and “Ibiza” (the Spanish and international version).
