Just The 2 of Us: In it Together… Forever

Hello. My name is Jacqueline Payne. I am a God-fearing Christian woman, wife, and mother. It’s truly been my honor to be married to my high school boyfriend, Mr. Jeffrey L. Payne, for the past forty-three years. We’re the very proud parents of four awesome adult children: Latresa, Charity, Amber, and Jeffrey Jr., and most proud of being “Nana” and “Papa” to Adonus, Amayah, Jaron, Jiselle, Jeremiah, Camden, Dream, Love, and Jazmyn (our nine heartbeats).

I created my e-book because I sincerely want to encourage women of all ages to walk through their marriage journey with faith and grace. This comes by learning to love, submit, support, communicate, give of self, and even have “shut-mouth-grace” at times.

Please know that walking through your marriage journey will look different because we’re all at different ages and stages in our lives. For example, the woman I was at the age of nineteen (clueless), when I got married, is not the same woman I am today at the age of sixty-three.

My prayer for every woman needing a little help along her journey is that my short-but-sweet little e-book with words of inspiration will put a smile on your face and encourage your heart to keep going. Remember to pray without ceasing, as the word says (1 Thessalonians 5:17 [ESV], trusting and believing God has great plans in store for your marriage. From my experience, forty-three years and beyond is certainly possible if two are committed and stay in the fight.
