The First Date - Video Shorts Lesson Plan

Your students will love watching the short animated video clips in this lesson and talking about the similarities and differences between the two couples. They will be able to share their own views and experiences of dating and think about what makes couples compatible. They’ll also create an imaginary backstory for a couple.

The lesson also offers an opportunity to raise LGBTQ awareness.

Aims:

• To develop students’ ability to develop narrative.
• To discuss issues around dating and relationships.
