Lovelight Blanket

Many of my favorite things about the Christmas season begin at home, with my family. Staying cozy by the fire with hot chocolate, listening to the wind howl from the safety of a warm blanket. Honoring traditions passed down from past generations of merrymakers, as well as the new ones I’m making with my own little family. May we all be where the lovelight gleams during the holiday season, and may this blanket give you comfort and warmth.

For the sample blanket, I started with fingering weight mini skeins that weighed 21.5 grams. Each row took a little over 1 gram of yarn. I was left with roughly 5 grams after knitting each color (other than color 1 and 24, which only have one transition section). Each brand of yarn and yarn base will have different weights, which is why I didn’t use up every scrap of yarn. This blanket is very easy to modify though, if you have more than 20 grams of each color.
