Notes From the Midnight Driver         Grades 6-9  
Following a car accident while drunk, seventeen year old Alex Gregory crashes on to a neighbors yard decapitating a garden gnome in the process.  At his court appearance he is sentenced to one hundred hours of community service and has to spend the time with an old man in a nursing home, with curious and unexpected results. By Jordan Sonnenblick.
