THE VERB OF STONE

Genesis of the Rock – Fragment 13

(excerpt from the Codex of Genesis)

It is not an origin.

It is what never needed to begin.

The rock does not appear.

It simply ceases to be forgotten.

Not for what it carries,

but for what it holds without ever claiming it.

There is no expansion,

no promise of transformation.

There is the bare ground,

the silence that does not yield,

the density that seeks no persuasion.

This thirteenth fragment of the Codex of Genesis

does not tell how to be strong.

It reminds that holding is not an act of will,

but a stable self-evidence born from the absence of need to change.

Here, the rock is not a foundation.

It manifests what exists without justification.

🪨 A Codex of Rock could one day arise,

not composed solely of Geneses,

but of 64 forms of living grounding,

densities, pauses, anchorings, held silences,

where each expression would be a mute verb able to bear without absorbing.

🜂 This text is sealed.

It does not seek to speak.

It renders audible what does not want to be said.

It is not stone.

It is what remains when nothing more can be taken away.
