The pictures

Victorian Christmas cards (1858–1899), many by the Swedish illustrator Jenny Nyström and the publisher Raphael Tuck. All are public domain; the source of each one is in the included provenance file. We brightened the colours a little for the retro look. Folk motifs, borders, shapes and lettering are our own design.
