Free Debt Snowball Calculator Spreadsheet: Debt-Free Date for 10 Debts (Excel & Google Sheets)
FREE download: find the month you'll be debt-free in about 5 minutes.
Type in up to 10 debts (name, balance, APR, minimum payment) and the amount you can pay each month. The debt snowball calculator then shows:
- your snowball payoff order (smallest balance first)
- the month each debt is paid off
- your debt-free month and how many months it takes
- total interest and total you'll pay
Built-in checks warn you in red if your budget is below your minimum payments, or if a minimum payment doesn't even cover the monthly interest, which means that debt never pays off on its own.
Real example (fictional household, included in the file): 5 debts totalling $16,290 with $700 a month. Debt-free by Mar 2029, in 27 months, with about $2,212 in interest. First debt gone in month 2.
Works in Excel 2010+ (no Microsoft 365 needed) and Google Sheets (File > Import > Upload). No macros. Any currency symbol.
This file is free. Payhip asks for your email at checkout only so it can deliver the download.

Good to know: the interest estimate is balance × APR ÷ 12 per month. Your lender's figures can differ slightly because of daily interest, fees or rate changes. Planning tool, not financial advice. Free for personal use.
