Bread's Bubble Team | Printable Food Science Activity Pack

Spatch built a fence around the dough. Help him work out what makes it rise.

Bread's Bubble Team is a short, adult-guided paper activity about two different jobs in yeasted wheat dough: making gas and helping hold it. Bring a pencil, make a prediction, arrange the explanation cards on the page and check the claims in Spatch's notebook. There is no cutting, cooking or food handling.

WHAT YOU GET

- One six-page activity pack in two PDF editions: illustrated and low-ink.

- Three learner pages for predicting and revisiting an idea, connecting a paper model, and checking claims.

- Adult quick-start notes, an answer and discussion guide, and linked source notes.

Both editions contain the same core activities: six unique content pages, not twelve different activity pages. The low-ink edition leaves out the large artwork and shaded panels.

PLAN YOUR VISIT

Allow about 15-20 minutes, with extra time if useful. Read aloud, write, draw, point or discuss together. The Great Dough Escape is an optional video companion; the explanation is also in the pack.

PRINTING

Print single-sided and choose Fit for US Letter or A4. Pages 2-4 are the learner pages; pages 1, 5 and 6 guide the adult.

DIGITAL DOWNLOAD

You receive one ZIP containing two PDFs. Download and unzip it, then open the PDFs in a PDF reader. A printer and paper are needed only if you choose to print. No physical item is shipped.
