Round Midnight is a 1943 composition by Thelonious Monk that quickly became a jazz standard and has been recorded by a wide variety of artists. Today I bring you this great version of Johnny Smith played with the sixth string in Eb, a tuning that he used in many compositions, especially when he recorded alone.
He also plays it with the Spanish guitar, a guitar that I use in many arrangements, something that gives a classic touch, to a composition that has little to do with that world.
