A classical style bible painting

A historical biblical scene. In the center stands Jesus, dressed in a light cream robe with a soft outer cloak. His expression is calm and compassionate as He gently oversees two men shaking hands in front of Him. One man, on the left, wears traditional ancient Middle Eastern clothing with a head covering and a reddish-brown robe. The other, on the right, appears to be a Roman soldier, dressed in armor with a metallic helmet topped by a red plume and a red cloak draped over his shoulder. A sword hangs at his side.

Their handshake symbolizes reconciliation and peace between opposing sides. Jesus’ hands are slightly extended toward them, suggesting He is guiding or blessing this act of unity.

In the background, several onlookers dressed in biblical-era garments observe the moment. Ancient stone buildings and columns rise behind them, set under a warm, golden sky filled with soft clouds. The overall color palette is rich and earthy, with glowing highlights that create a serene, hopeful atmosphere.

The painting conveys a powerful message of harmony, forgiveness, and peaceful coexistence.
