Trading Plan Explained — Measured (PDF Guide)
Most trading plans are a list of preferences written in the imperative, and no line in them says what it rests on. A plan whose steps rest on nothing cannot ever tell you that it was wrong.
This guide works four attacks in full on the two results that survived a twenty-test study, watches both of them fall, and then builds a plan out of what was left standing - arithmetic, counts and a procedure, with the evidence named on every single step. This is a 44-page PDF that teaches Trading Plan from the first thing you see on the screen through to a written strategy with an entry, a stop and an explicit rule for when the trade is wrong.
Nothing is taught underneath a chart. Every label sits on the candle, the line or the level it is describing, on real BTC, ETH, SOL and LINK charts. There are three quizzes on real charts, each followed by the same chart re-shown annotated with the reasoning, plus faded practice pages where the first steps are filled in and you finish the rest.
WHAT'S INSIDE
The four attacks, worked on real candidates -- Move the setting, split the period, count by instrument and by year, re-count without overlap. Both survivors are put through all four and both fall.
What happened to the stronger of the two -- T14 held at every entry setting tried -- z 3.49, 3.69 and 3.15 -- and then failed everything else: 1 of 2 halves, 1 of 10 instruments alone, 0 of 10 years.
And to the weaker one -- T12 clears nothing. 0 of 3 lookbacks, 0 of 2 halves, 0 of 10 instruments, 0 of 10 years -- and 4 of 10 of them point the other way entirely.
Why the attacks are allowed to be post-hoc -- Because an attack can only take a result away and never hand one over. A post-hoc check that could add a finding would be worthless; one that can only subtract is safe.
And the plan that comes out of it -- Three things survived this wave: the cost arithmetic, the counts, and the procedure itself. Every step in the plan says which of the three it rests on, and none of them rests on a forecast.
WHAT YOU'LL BE ABLE TO DO
Run four attacks on any result, including your own.
Say why a post-hoc check is allowed to subtract and not to add.
Tell a result that survives one attack from one that survives four.
Build a plan in which every step names its own evidence.
Recognise a plan whose steps rest on nothing at all.
AN HONEST NOTE
Trading Plan is a clue, not a crystal ball. It describes what price has already done. This guide contains no win-rates, no backtest results and no promises about what you will make, because nobody can verify those and you should not trust anyone who prints them. What it hands you instead is a set of rules you can test yourself on TradingView in an afternoon. Educational, not financial advice.
