If you're looking for settings of beautiful traditional carols which are rarely found in bound collections, look no further. These three settings are wonderfully familiar and will have your congregation tapping and clapping along.

"The Holly and the Ivy" is a light-hearted music romp in a spritely 3/4 meter. The middle section of the piece skillfully interweaves the beautiful "We Three Kings" melody in the piece. Perfect for both the Christmas season and the Epiphany.

"Rise Up, Shepherd, and Follow" is an African-American Christmas melody that is thankfully now in every hymnal. This setting uses stride piano in the opening section, a delicate treble arrangement in the middle section, and lush jazz voicings in the finale.

"O Christmas Tree," also known as "O Tannenbaum," was made famous by the Vince Guaraldi arrangement on the Charle Brown Christmas special. The little-known religious lyrics that can be used with this melody make it an apt choice for any service of the Christmas season. In this arrangement, jazz voicings bring out the everygreen melody.
