Small Knit / Garter Dog Sweater Pattern

These sweaters are ideal for a small dog weighing 15 to 20 pounds - give or take.

Except for the Ktbl1, P1 ribbing around the neck, leg openings and belly, every stitch is knit. Again, I eliminated something that is not my favorite knitting activity. Purling!

The part of the sweater knit back and forth is a nice garter stitch stripe. The part of the sweater knit in the round is in stockinette stitch.

The finished dog sweater measures: Length: 17”, Chest 18”, From the top of neck to leg openings: 5”, space between legs 2”
