The Cuddle Baby Ragdoll Lovey is a cuddler toy that has a flat body, mimicking a security blanket for babies, toddlers, and young children. This no-sew pattern bundle contains multiple options to customize the perfect doll, including: body shape, sleeve length, and edging.
There are two main body shapes to choose from: a swaddled baby (wearing a gown with a knot at the bottom), and a pajama baby (with legs showing). You may opt for short or long sleeve lengths. Edging can be lacy (for a more feminine look) or straight (for a unisex/gender neutral look) on the neck, sleeve cuffs, and optional pant cuffs. Lastly, the pattern includes a removable bonnet to keep the baby’s head warm and cozy.
This snuggler works up quickly and easily with blanket yarn or super bulky chenille velvet yarn. There is no sewing needed, as it is worked from top down in one piece. Even the lacy edging and arms are crocheted directly onto the doll.
It makes the perfect heirloom keepsake gift for babies, toddlers, and both boys and girls. Crochet it for craft fairs or markets, as a birthday gift, holiday gift, or baby shower gift!

- Hobbii Honey Bunny yarn, or similar super bulky “6” yarns in desired colors
- Black yarn scraps for embroidering eyes
- 5mm crochet hook
- Stuffing
- Yarn needle
- Scissors
- Optional: 12mm plastic safety eyes (x2) -WARNING: Plastic safety eyes are a choking hazard for babies and young children. Embroider the eyes instead if you are giving this item to a little one.
