NEO283 Dzudzuana raw genome 23andme format

NEO283 is an Upper Paleolithic woman from Kotias Klde Cave in the Caucasus. Radiocarbon dating places her somewhere between 26k to 25k years before present, which is before the last glacial maximum.

She falls into a genetic cluster called the Dzudzuana cluster, named after another cave in the Caucasus named Dzudzuana.

Studies show that nearly every major population of Europe, the Near East, South and Central Asia, and even parts of Northeast Africa carries significant proportions of Dzudzuana ancestry.

For this video, I gathered the raw DNA of NEO283 from the European Nucleotide Archive, and analyzed its genome using my Trait Predictor and Betacalc tools.
