During a period of time lasting from the late 1970s to the early 1980s, Frank Zappa frequently mentioned his use of „the Chord Bible“, a catalogue of his favored chords with certain characteristics.

The following pages are a collection of chord voicings I have found in my research of Zappa’s music of this time period, that meet the requirements of being a „Chord Bible“ voicing (most importantly: Having no doubled notes).
