FROM ALRICK → Y’HOSEF
FROM ALRICK → Y’HOSEF is more than a debut album—it’s a testimony of transformation.
This playlist chronicles the journey of a male-man growing into identity, purpose, and covenant. Alrick represents the former self: searching, broken, uncertain of calling. Y’HOSEF (יוֹסֵף), from the Hebrew root yasaf meaning “to add, to increase, to continue”, represents the man refined through repentance, obedience, and surrender—one whom Elohim adds to and establishes with purpose.
Across these 15 tracks, Tallent walks the listener through the Hebraic rhythm of teshubah (return), emet (truth), and emunah (faithfulness). The album reflects a real-life awakening that came in his mid-20s—where grace met accountability, and identity was no longer self-defined but revealed.
From the opening cry of “Hi Grace”—a recognition of ḥen (unearned favor)—to “Searching”, the restless pursuit of meaning, the listener is brought face-to-face with the inner war every man must confront. “Repent” and “Never Too Late” echo the ancient call of Scripture: the door of mercy remains open as long as breath remains.
“Yisrael” speaks to identity—one who wrestles with Elohim and prevails—while “Love Me Anyway” and “Broken” expose vulnerability, confession, and the longing to be known fully and loved still. Tracks like “Let It Go” and “Level Di Devil” confront spiritual warfare, urging release of bondage and resistance against deception.
At the center stands “Yahushua A Wear”, anchoring the album in the name above all names—the salvation (Yahusha) of YHUH. From there, themes of covenant (“Until Death”, “Loyalty”) and rootedness (“Planted Like A Tree”, echoing Psalm 1) take shape, showing the fruit of a life submitted.
The closing stretch—“Old Path” and “Return”—brings it full circle. Jeremiah 6:16 lives here: standing at the crossroads, choosing the ancient way, and finding rest for the being (soul). This is not rebranding—it is restoration.
FROM ALRICK → Y’HOSEF is a soundtrack for men/women in process, for those discovering that transformation is not instant—but it is possible. It is proof that when a man returns, Elohim adds.
