Darling Dress
With its flattering open back, deep square neck, lace straps and relaxed shape, Darling Dress is a perfectly refined compromise between comfort and elegance. It is a dress to feel both charming and casual.
Darling Dress is worked in one piece, top-down. It starts with two straps, then the front neckline and arm lines are shaped. After that, the back is started and the body is worked in one piece to the hem. At the end, the stitches are picked up from the edges and finished using Picot Bind Off method. Instructions for the straps are represented with a chart. The pattern includes instructions on how to modify the length of the dress and adjust the width of the body. Needles:
One set of 3 mm / US 2.5 circular needles.
One set of 2.5 mm / US 2 circular needles.

Gauge:
23 sts x 33 rows – 10 cm / 4” on 3 mm / US 2.5 needles, in Stockinette st, after blocking.
One full repeat of Strap chart on 3 mm / US 2.5 needles, after blocking: 19 sts x 30 rows – 6 cm x 12 cm / 2.5” x 4.75”.
