In our April 2022 issue of Sista Bosso Magazine we dived into the world Vuyiswa Ntombela, a lover of life from Katlehong in the East side of Jo'burg. We had a chat about growing up and what family looks like for her.
Vee shared with us her sources of inspiration and left us inspired too, this Sista Bosso's love for beautiful scenery, her humble spirit that sees her serving with an open heart, the amazing work that she does with South African youth and the fact that she loves seeing a smile due to her efforts, all say that she is definitely doing something right.
From her freelance fashion stylist career, the project management work she does that is focused in youth development, Vuyiswa is a strong leader, and an amazing representation of community building. The cherry on top must be how she and her team at Vee In Colour tell a stories of colour through photography and design.
If you are about to learn anything from this Bosso, take her tips, 1. Be kind to one another, 2. Acquire digital skills, 3. Take care of your mental health, 4. Unite, have a common goal, 5. Work on it consistently as a collaborative. Take it from this dress to kill-biscuit-baking-shoe-selling hustler.
Sista Bosso moves come with big responsibilities and to hear what Vuyiswa Ntombela is planning for her hood, Katlehong, is motivation to the best of us. And according to Vee, while you are chasing these big dreams, do research as much as you can and find a mentor, stay up to date with trends and what's happening in you industry and how her typical day looks like.
She also dropped some serious gems for all African, Vee said "Remember that the power is in our hands and the natural resources we have as a continent."
