5. DDR-DES-005 — Artifact, Model, Framework, System and Intervention Design
Description:
This Master Prompt would focus on transforming validated requirements and theoretical foundations into a coherent design for the proposed research artifact. Depending on the study, the artifact may be a conceptual model, framework, educational module, training programme, prototype, software application, digital system, instrument, guideline, intervention, process, learning environment, decision-support system, or physical product.
Researchers would be guided in defining components, architecture, functions, relationships, processes, content structures, user interactions, workflows and expected outcomes. A major emphasis would be placed on demonstrating how and why each major design component exists and how it connects with the needs, requirements and theoretical foundations established earlier. Appropriate outputs could include conceptual frameworks, system architectures, component diagrams, process models, flowcharts, storyboards, interface structures, design matrices and requirement-to-component traceability tables. The literature includes systematic framework development and design through ADDIE as well as theory-based design frameworks subsequently transformed into functional products.
