4 Course Favourites
Despite the title, this booklet has nothing to do with food or my favourite dinner party menu. It is, in fact, a small collection of my favourite pieces for the 4~course Renaissance guitar. The arrangements are in tab and standard notation. The notation is for low G tuning. I have also included separate baritone versions in notation for those who prefer to read the dots. If you play baritone and want to use tab then just use the tab line under the low G notation. The tab remains the same for both instruments. I’ve also included images of the original tab (tablature) for those who might want to use this system. The concept is the largely the same as our modern tab with each line representing a string. The principal difference, however, is that the fingerboard positions are indicated with letters rather than numbers. The PDF booklet is 53 pages long.
