Pattern for crocheting Jute tawashi with handle by Anna Morwen

In this pattern I propose you crochet tawashi/scrubbies from jute from one piece of thread, no intermediate cuts and joinings!

Available in English and Ukrainian.

Using natural jute or hemp for making these tawashi, you’re making them:

• biodegradable
• reusable
• ecologically clean
• safe for health and environment
• exceptionally hygienic

The use of these items is wide: washing dishes, cleaning, personal care.

Keep tawashi hanging, because jute is very hygroscopic. Soak it in soda and water solution periodically with the following hand or machine washing.
