Ruby is around 10 years old and, sadly, has had a difficult life. He was raised on a farm and suffered mistreatment, which has left him very wary of people and slow to trust. When Ruby first arrived at AAA, he was covered in fleas and desperately in need of care and kindness.
Because of his past, Ruby is not immediately welcoming and needs time, patience and understanding before he allows someone into his world. We hope that, with plenty of love and gentle care, he will gradually learn that people can be trusted.
Ruby needs a very special person who understands his past, respects his boundaries and is willing to give him the time he needs to feel safe.
Ruby deserves the chance to discover what a loving home truly feels like. He really needs his second chance. ❤️
