This course is about providing micro dermabrasion treatments to improve the appearance and condition of the skin on the face and body. You will learn to maintain effective health, safety and hygiene procedures throughout your work.

This course complements our other beauty electrical courses.

Pre-requisite / Entry level:

Level 2 Beauty Therapy qualification

(for ABT qualification)

OR,

Facial accredited qualification

(for IPHM qualification)

Course format:

1 day practical training + online learning modules + case studies

Attendance:

1 day practical

Model required:

Yes, you will be required to work on models to carry out your case studies at home.

Accrediting body:

IPHM - International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine (if facial qualified)
ABT - Associated Beauty Therapists (If level 2 Beauty qualified)

Career potential:

Beauty therapist / Advanced skin specialist - employed or self-employed, working in a salon or spa or as a home / mobile therapist.

Help clients with common skin care and conditions such as fine lines, wrinkles, enhancing penetration of product, stimulate collagen production, improve scars and stretch marks, hyper-pigmentation, increase blood & lymph flow, improve spots/milia/blackheads.

Additional Costs:

You will need to purchase your own products and equipment to bring to the practical training and in order to carry out your case studies and practice your skills. i.e., facial kit / Micro-dermabrasion machine
