Developed through more than thirty years of practical experience in music education, entrepreneurship, inclusive education, and music technology, this course introduces a fresh perspective on how people learn, participate, and thrive.
In Module 1 you will discover the foundations of Encountering Creativity Pedagogy® and its four core pillars:

You will learn how psychologically safe learning environments increase confidence, creativity, motivation, participation, and long-term learning—without lowering expectations or educational quality.

My name is Johanna Kaarto. I am a concert flautist, music educator, entrepreneur, and the creator of Encountering Creativity Pedagogy®.
For more than thirty years I have worked as a music educator. I founded my own music school in 2004, have conducted orchestras, and more recently have explored the exciting possibilities of modern music technology.
I hope Encountering Creativity Pedagogy® encourages you to explore new ways of teaching, connecting with others, and reimagining education.
