Safety Awareness & Rigging Basics
The ordinary ways people in this trade actually get hurt
Most people who get hurt in AV are not hurt doing something dramatic. They hurt their back lifting a case alone, fall off a stage edge in the dark, step backwards into a forklift's path on a loading dock, drop a wrench from a ladder onto a colleague, or stand under a truss while it is being flown because it was only going up a metre. Every one of those was visible beforehand to somebody who knew what to look for.
