The Weight of Open Water is an album about the things that stay — the shape light leaves behind when it moves on, the sound a room keeps long after everyone has left, the distance between stars that is mostly made of time. Eight tracks about standing at the edge of something vast and learning, slowly, that the weight was never the water.

Eight original tracks recorded in the spirit of 1973 — Stratocaster with long delay trails, Mellotron strings, Farfisa organ, Minimoog pads, lap steel, and a dry, honest production that lets the room breathe. Analog warmth with all its imperfections intact.

This is not a clean record. It was never meant to be.
