Hard to know what your child wants when the words won't come? With these cards your child can point to show you what they want, what they need and how they feel, so there is less guessing for both of you.

192 printable picture cards in one bundle, to help your child ask for what they want, tell you what they need, name what they are doing and say how they feel. Made for children who are autistic, non-speaking, minimally verbal or just learning to talk. Clear, simple pictures on a white background, with one word under each picture.

This bundle includes three of my card sets: Communication Cards (72), Action Verb Cards (72) and Feelings and Calm Down Cards (48).

WHAT YOU GET (33 PAGES)

• Part 1, Communication Cards: 72 cards in 6 color groups (core words, food and drink, my body, feelings, play, people and places), I want / I need / I feel sentence strips, 2 choice boards, a big Yes / No board and 12 blank cards

• Part 2, Action Verb Cards: 72 cards in 6 color groups (body moves, play, home, school and art, self-care, feelings and senses), I can / I like to / Can you sentence strips, Verb of the Day page, verb list, games page and 12 blank cards

• Part 3, Feelings and Calm Down Cards: 24 feelings cards and 24 calm down cards, a How Do I Feel? check-in chart, a calm down choice board, sentence strips, a calm plan page and 12 blank cards

• A contents page, so you can find each part quickly

• All cards are 2 x 2 inches (5 cm), so every set fits the same boards and strips

• 2 PDF files: US Letter (US spelling) and A4 (Australian / New Zealand spelling), plus a printing guide. Each paper size comes as Part 1 and Part 2 (same cards, split into 2 smaller files so they download faster)

HOW TO USE

1. Print at 100% scale (Actual size), laminate if you like, and cut out the cards.

2. Add velcro dots to the boards and the back of each card.

3. Start with 2 or 3 cards your child really wants, such as a favorite snack or toy.

4. Point to the card and say the word. Respond as soon as your child points to or hands you the card.

5. Add verbs and feelings slowly, as your child is ready.
