Green Gable rises above the western fells of the Lake District, standing between the wild headwaters of Ennerdale and the high mountain passes leading towards Borrowdale. Captured from Seavy Knott on a clear day, this photograph shows Green Gable in the mid ground with the mighty summit of Great Gable rising behind, creating one of the most recognisable mountain skylines in Cumbria.
