The Stories of Patricia Polacco

This unit, written for grades 2 - 4, contains activities for seven of Patricia Polacco's novels.  The theme of many of her novels stresses how the characters face up to and overcome problems in their lives.
The activities include vocabulary and word study, various method of story mapping, comprehension, expressing opinions, creative writing, grammar and art.
