FIELD

FIELD is a real-time spectral stereo analyser from Lomax Signal Works.

It visualises stereo behaviour across the frequency spectrum, making it easy to see width, correlation, phase relationships and potential mono-compatibility problems as they happen.

Unlike a single correlation meter, FIELD shows where across the spectrum stereo behaviour is occurring — from tightly centred information to wide, diffuse and potentially destructive relationships.

This demonstration uses a held C3 from Ableton Analog. The source begins mono before panning, chorus and stereo width are introduced, showing how FIELD responds to each change.
