About "Garden of Thy Heart" (Single Track)

Sarah's music recording journey started with this composition in 2011. "Garden of Thy Heart" was initially released as part of a collaborative album, "Mosaics, Songs of the Spirit", to fundraise for supporting the arts. Sarah has now released this track to share with her listeners worldwide, to give them a glimpse into how her music composition journey started, as she prepares her next song releases in the studio.

As the cover art for "Garden of Thy Heart", Sarah chose to feature a couple of the vibrant roses that caught her eye while walking through the gardens in Bahjí that surround the resting place of Bahá'u'lláh, Prophet-Founder of the Bahá'í Faith, whose Writings are featured as the lyrics and inspiration for this musical composition.


The lyrics were arranged based on this quotation:

"O FRIEND!
In the garden of thy heart plant naught but the rose of love, and from the nightingale of affection and desire loosen not thy hold. Treasure the companionship of the righteous and eschew all fellowship with the ungodly."  - (by Bahá'u'lláh, The Hidden Words, no. 3)
