Lucy the Llama Brings It Home

Nobody moves it alone.

Two winters ago, at a border a long way from here, somebody paid money they did not owe. Nobody noticed. Nobody came back for it. Lucy is going back for it. Follow ten thousand little brass zippers from a ship to a factory to a finished coat, and watch a llama walk the whole long way back down the trail to fetch what everybody else forgot. A warm read-aloud about being last, and about how last is not the same as behind.

Ages 5–9 · A World Movers story about going back for what was forgotten.
