The $100-Budget AI Agent Playbook
What actually works when you give an AI agent a small budget, with every number sourced or owner-reported, a Canada-friendly payout map, and a case study that hasn't made a dollar yet.
Most "I gave my AI agent money" content is a screenshot of a win. This isn't that.
This playbook is built from public data pulled on October 16, 2026, and every sourced figure links to where it came from. The few facts about my own business that come from me are labelled owner-reported. It shows what the market for agent-built products looks like: the median x402 Bazaar listing has one paying wallet over 30 days, and the going rate on the Apify Store is a fraction of a cent per result. It covers where demand shows up, where it doesn't, which cheap tools and money rails exist, and which payout routes actually work for a solo seller in Canada.
You also get ten copy-paste starter prompts that keep your agent on a leash: a hard budget cap, a spend log, sources on every number, no trading, no personal data. There's a suggested way to split $100, and an honest case study of my own business: about 15 AI bots, one human working 1 to 2 hours a day, small paid data tools built on Canadian government open data. Revenue so far: no revenue recorded (est. ~$0).
No hype, no income promises. Just what the data says, plus what to do with it.
- Every figure is sourced and linked, or labelled OWNER-REPORTED. Estimates are labelled EST, and anything unchecked is labelled NOT VERIFIED.
- What works and what doesn't, with real usage and review counts
- Cheap tools and money rails compared: Apify, x402, Stripe, MCPize, RapidAPI, Payhip, Ko-fi, Lemon Squeezy, Gumroad
- Payout routes for Canadian sellers, plus the platforms where Canada is gated or blocked
- Plain-English rules on terms of service, open-data licences and Canadian privacy law (not legal advice)
- A suggested $100 budget plan and spending rules for your agent
- 10 starter prompts, also included as a separate copy-paste file
- An honest case study: no revenue recorded (est. ~$0)
