Wave Break Sweater

DESCRIPTION

Wave Break Sweater is a pullover sweater worked from the bottom up, in the round, then split at the upper body and worked on flat with neck and shoulder shapings. The sleeve stitches are then picked up around the armhole and worked in the round. This pattern includes an option for a short sleeve and a long sleeve version as well as instruction for adding a bust dart at the front chest area which will give you some extra length and help to prevent from lifting at the hem.
This pattern comes in 9 sizes using fingering weight yarn with video tutorials for easy to follow instructions for some of its unique finishes.

YARN

This sweater is made with The Little Foxes in their Arctic Fox Fingering yarn (100% Superwash merino, 3 ply; 490yd / 448m per 100g).
Main Color (MC) in colorway Peony Blush: 2 (2, 2, 3, 3) (3, 3, 3, 4) skeins.   
Contrast Color (CC) in colorway October Leaves: 1 (1, 1, 1, 2) (2, 2, 2, 2) skeins.

You can also use any fingering weight yarn in the following yardage/meterage;
Main Color (MC) in yardage: 833 (915, 980, 1069, 1148) (1245, 1315, 1438, 1553) y.  
Main Color (MC) in meterage: 762 (837, 896, 978, 1050) (1139, 1203, 1315, 1420) m.  

Contrast Color (CC) in yardage: 369 (405, 434, 474, 508) (551, 582, 637, 688) y.
Contrast Color (CC) in meterage: 338 (371, 397, 434, 465) (504, 532, 583, 629) m

Finished circumference at bust (with ease added): 36 ½” (40 ½”, 44 ½”, 48 ½”, 52 ½”) (56 ½”, 60 ½”, 64 ½”, 68 ½”) / 93cm (103cm, 113cm, 123cm, 133cm) (143.5cm, 153.5cm, 164cm, 174cm)

Recommended ease: Intended to be worn with approx. 7 - 9” (18 - 23cm) of positive ease.
Sample shown in size 3 on a 36” bust.

Gauge:
27 sts and 36 rows for 4” / 10cm in Stockinette stitch in the round after blocking with a bigger needle. 

Needles:
US 3 (3.25mm): For Neck and Short Sleeve trim
US 4 (3.5mm): For Main Body, Body trim and Long Sleeve cuff
(Use needle size necessary to obtain gauge)

Notions:
Circular needle (recommended), stitch markers, tapestry or darning needle, stitch holders or waste yarn in contrast color.
