This hat combines two of my favorite design elements: ribbing and cable medallions. The result is a snug beanie that stays on and keeps the head cozy.
The Sincere Sheep Bannock that I used for the design has a lovely bounce from the spin of the yarn and the natural loft of the Targhee wool. Plus, who doesn’t love a colorway named for the Egyptian goddess of love, music and motherhood?
The hat has a companion piece, the Sincerity Mitts.

- Sincere Sheep Bannock (100% Targhee wool; 280yd / 256m to 113g / 4oz) Colorway: Hathor’s Gem. Less than 1 skein for either size. OR 180-250yd / 165-229m worsted weight yarn.
- 1 set size US8 / 5.0mm needles for working small-diameter in the round (circulars or double-pointed)
