Have you ever finished your video or animation and just couldn`t find the perfect backround sounds and atmospheres to bring them to true life ? If so, I totally understand you. As an architectural visualizer and video editor I often spent hours or even days browsing the net for organic, natural sounding field recordings just to give my movies the final spark and the human touch.

A year ago I finally decided I needed to record everything myself. Since I also have a solid backround in classical music and audio production it was a fairly easy step. I started going out there with my Zoom recorder, from early mornings to late nights, from dense forests to the middle of the city, from january to december.

I have put together a few sample packs with all the materials I have gathered throughout the year. Knowing exactly what a visualizer searches for when it comes to backround sounds I think I they might be just what you are looking for.

This is a demo pack summarizing the 4 commercial packs I have recorded and released in the past year. It contains samples from all 4 :

-"Birds" ( countryside, forest , spring & summer, night birds, urban birds ) 

-"Walking in Nature" ( walking and steps sounds on a multitude of surfaces, from country roads to sand, wet land, grass, pebbles, rocks, etc. ) 

-"Urban People" ( people chatting, discussing, playing, having fun, in public institutions, playgrounds, terraces, parks, etc ) 

-"Urban Traffic" ( wich contains all types of traffic noise, from busy streets to quiet ones, from mid-day to midnight, from singel cars to middle town intersections, etc. )

All those sounds can deffinitely serve well in adding that backround human touch to all kinds of video, from 3D animations to movies or even music. The recordings range from 30 seconds up to 4 minutes in length, with many variations, so there is plenty to chose from.

TECHNICAL SPECS :

560 Mb of audio content ( uncompressed )

48 Khz / 24 bit , for maximum quality & dynamics.

More than 3o minutes of foley and field recordings of all kinds.

The audio content has been processed very lightly, in order not to lose the natural feel. There is some slight stereo widening, a touch of compression, everything limited at - 1.0 Db.
