Author Timothy Virge's Devotional series: My Own Prison Episode Eleven: "Enslaved to self improvement"

Welcome beloved Child of Grace, to my new devotional series I have titled: "My Own Prison" This beautiful series is all about looking at various "lies" we have: believed, received, accepted, and or allowed to run and to ruin our lives as Christians. Lies, that hinder us from enjoying the Grace of God in our lives, it can be corrected and cured and Grace is the very nature of God that is able to do just that! 

See the lies for what they are: falsehoods and limiting beliefs, purposefully meant to chain us up and shackle us in a prison of our own making. Its our own prison now because we still keep believing the lies that have put us there, and now they keep us there - living in the dumps instead of living in light of Gods beautiful Grace that were already under!

My own prison will challenge everything we have thought to be true concerning God and His grace, many of these things that we have been told to be true, are not. Much of what we have been taught in the Christian world is in fact nothing but a lie, we've been sold many half truths and untruths. The problem with that is once we believe them they affect us regardless of whether or not they are true.

My own prison will break the steel bars confining you right now and liberate you to really begin living by God's grace without all of the yes grace but... prisoned mindsets. I dont want you living under condemnation, guilt, fear, pressure, worry, defeat, or slavery -all of that has been defeated by Grace. Grace will set You from free from all of that stuff and ultimately from your own prison, we just need to know the truth about God and His Grace for us!

Devotional by devotional I will take a lie after another lie that forms a prison within us and expose them 1 by 1 to set you free, as the series continues you will become increasingly free. Time and Truth will break you current prison, just keep learning and growing in the truth and in the Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. Grace never disappoints us and it wont in this series either!
