A good wine may take time, but when murder’s involved, everyone knows: better plunk than dead

As Jules begin her sixth year being stranded in Provence, she’s also been without her husband Luc for nearly a year. While she tries to earn the respect of the villagers of Chabanel and prove herself as the interim Chief of Police a good friend and colleague is found murdered in the middle of the area’s annual lavender festival. Making matters worse, a man she sent away for attempted murder is released back into the village to cause more trouble. He also happens to be the husband of Jules’ best friend, the mayor of Chabanel. Can Jules untangle all the troubling memories and deep-seated secrets from of her nearest and dearest to uncover the truth—and possibly salvage her own heart in the process?
