This book is for anyone who has felt caught within intense thoughts and emotions and is looking for a way through with less pressure. Across these pages, you will learn ways to meet your thoughts with honesty and compassion. You will also learn how to create space between yourself and the thoughts that can feel consuming.

This guide is designed to help you anchor yourself when things feel overwhelming. At its core is a simple reminder: you are not your thoughts and emotions. You are the one who notices them. That awareness is often the first point of stability. This is not a promise that difficult moments will disappear. Instead, it is an invitation to learn how to move through them with more steadiness, clarity, and self-understanding. By the end, the hope is that you will feel more able to stay with yourself, even when your internal world feels at its most intense.

Amazing!

I have an interest in psychology. So decided to give this book a read. Not only is it an excellent guide, it is written with depth and knowledge, by someone with vast experience! It is an easy book to understand and the methods it depicts are definitely easy to follow. Would recommend this to anyone who struggles with mental health, and even to people that feel like they don’t! This book helps you to have a better understanding of self.

Excellent guide!

There are days when "self-help" feels like just another chore on a to-do list. Reading this book I don’t feel like work, feels like a deep, collective exhale. Reading those words was like sitting across from someone who doesn't ask you to "snap out of it," but instead pulls up a chair and sits with you…Rather than offering clinical lectures (no one needs it in the middle of the noise) it offers a hand to lead back to. I really like this book and definitely will read it again.
