Family Name and Year Ornaments SVG – 24 Laser Cut & Cricut Files: Folk Art, Alpine and Gingerbread Blanks (SVG, DXF, PDF)

Twenty-four original ornaments for a family tree, each with a solid blank for a name and a solid blank for a year. You engrave them, write them with a paint pen, or lay vinyl letters on top. The cut itself stays wordless.

The set mixes folk-art frames (hearts, stars, a scalloped oval, a floral medallion, a double name plaque, a family-count plaque and a tulip), alpine shapes (a chalet, an edelweiss, mountain peaks, a pine and heart tag, a ring, a gift tag, a bookmark and a spruce) and gingerbread-cookie frames (a scalloped round, a heart, a house, a star, two mini cards, a bell and a tree). They are generic ornaments. They are not a character, a mascot, or a shop logo.

Every design is one connected piece. Twenty-two have a 5 mm hanging hole. The two mini cards have none. Cut paths are closed, and the thinnest material is 2 mm, which keeps the pieces sturdy in 3 mm plywood, MDF or acrylic.

THE BLANKS

The wider panel is for a name. The shorter panel is for a year. Engrave them, write them, or press on vinyl letters. The cut files do not contain names, years or greetings.

The double name plaque has two name panels and one year panel. The family count plaque has an extra small panel for the number of people in the household. The two mini cards have the same panels and no hanging hole.

Every design is one connected piece. 22 have a 5 mm hanging hole (the two mini cards have none). Scale freely. Below about 60 mm the small cut-outs get fragile in wood, and the narrow parts (scallop tips, branch tips, the ring bridges and the bail around the hanging hole) are the most delicate.

Materials: 3 mm plywood or MDF, or 2–3 mm acrylic, for hanging ornaments. Birch plywood suits the plaques, gift tag, bookmark and mini cards if you want to engrave a name into the blank. Cardstock, kraft paper, vinyl or felt can be scaled to suit. Keep painted or engraved surfaces away from food.

ABOUT THESE FILES

The outlines are original vector drawings from Bright Sheets Studio, checked for closed paths and a minimum material width of 2 mm. The blanks are empty on purpose: a wider panel for a name and a shorter panel for a year. The family count plaque also leaves a small blank for the number of people in the household. Nothing is pre-lettered.

Folk hearts, stars, flowers, alpine chalets, peaks, edelweiss and gingerbread scallops are generic shapes. They are not based on a brand, logo, book, film, television show, game or character.

The listing images are digital previews of the files, not photographs of finished cuts. Colour on those previews is just a way to show the three styles. A gold rectangle on the PNG preview marks each blank panel. That rectangle is not a cut line. These files have not been test-cut on a machine yet — please cut a small test on your own material first.
