Do You Know Your Dog? The Springer Spaniel

Calling all Springer lovers! 🐾

Will yours ever calm down? How much exercise do they really need? And why are they always carrying your shoe?

At Houlton Hounds we're a team of 8 dog walkers near Rugby, looking after more than 200 clients, and a very healthy number of them are spaniels. They're all mad spaniels, and the Springer might just be the maddest, in the best possible way! This fun 16-page guide shares everything we've learned on a lot of muddy miles.

Inside you'll find:

• The Springer's story, the oldest of the sporting gundogs
• Working or show lines, and what the difference means for you
• That bouncy, joyful personality and the famous missing "off-switch"
• Walks, water fun and positive training tips
• Grooming, health checks and what to ask a breeder

We're dog walkers, not vets, so we've checked everything against the Royal Kennel Club, PDSA, Dogs Trust and the RSPCA, plus our own tales from the Houlton Hounds pack.

For every guide sold, we donate 50p to UK dog rescue charities ❤️

We hope it makes you smile, and helps you get to know your dog even better!
