Deneb Shawl Knitting pattern by Emma Vining
Designed to showcase beautiful yarns, the Deneb Shawl is a wide right-angled triangle shawl with an elegant textured stripe.
This versatile asymmetric shawl features two contrasting yarns which are held together throughout the shawl to make a soft, blended knitted fabric.
The shawl is knitted lengthways in one piece as a wide right-angled triangle shape. After set-up, this shawl shape is formed by increasing 1 st at the end of every RS row. The main stitches used in the shawl are k (knit); p (purl); m1 (make 1 st by working into the bar between stitches).
To knit the Deneb Shawl, you will need
Zakami Hand Dyed Fingering Yarn (100% Fine Merino Wool, 400m/437yd per 100g skein)
Shade A: Woodland Tales: 1 × 100g skein
AND
Zakami Hand Dyed Suri Fluff Fingering Yarn (100% Brushed Suri Alpaca, 400m/437yd per 100g skein)

Hold these two yarn ends together throughout to create a single strand.
